Mappin’ of the Green

The city has released a map of the festivities that will take place on Saturday March 15th! Please note the parade has a different route this year due to construction. The parade will begin at 10th & Kansas this year, travel north, turning west on 7th street, right at Evergy Plaza where Topeka IrishFest is being held!

If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for the Topeka IrishFest5k! This annual tradition kicks off our event every year. Its a fun run or walk around beautiful Downtown Topeka wearing as much green as possible and ends at the beer garden!

Topeka IrishFest is one of the top Northeast Kansas ethnic event, attracting people from Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan and Kansas City area. Topeka IrishFest runs in conjunction with the Topeka St. Patrick’s Day parade attracting over 70,000 people to beautiful downtown Topeka!

Experience IrishFest 2025 in Downtown Topeka

Join us in beautiful Downtown Topeka for Topeka IrishFest 2025! We will once again be celebrating our Irish pride and everything green down on Evergy Plaza, Saturday, March 15th! IrishFest will kick off at 10:00 with our annual Mater Dei IrishFest 5k Fun Run/Walk, beer tent, authentic Irish food, whiskey tasting, live music and more! Of course our celebration wouldn’t be complete without the Topeka St. Patrick’s Day parade! The parade kicks off at noon and you will have prime views from the plaza!

2024 Headliner Announced

Topeka IrishFest is excited to announce, Carswell and Hope, will be returning to the Evergy Plaza stage at 1230pm on March 16th!

From Lawrence, KS with a taste of Ireland, Carswell & Hope bring vintage rock sounds and sensibilities together with big harmonies, carefully crafted textures and inventive songwriting, to create a sound and experience all of their own.

Carswell & Hope were formed in 2012 when Irishman Nick Carswell arrived in Lawrence, Kansas with guitar in hand, ready to bring his unique voice and inventive songwriting to the US Midwest. He soon found Jason Slote (drums), Austin Quick (bass/keys) and Jordan Tucker (guitar), and the sound immediately began to form the cohesive yet difficult to define space that Carswell & Hope inhabits. The band has been compared to Elvis Costello, Radiohead, Fleet Foxes, Local Natives and ELO.
