Evergy Plaza on Kansas Avenue is where everything is happening, including the start and finish of the race. Each year we work with the City of Topeka and the TPD to provide a safe route that all will enjoy. We try to keep the race route the same year after year, any changes to the route will be posted here as soon as it is finalized.

The current route takes runners down the continuously changing and improving Kansas Avenue, around the State Capitol grounds, and right next to our historic Assumption Church.

The race will begins at 6th and Kansas Avenue at 10a, follows two laps around the course and ends at 7th and Kansas, right next to the Irish Festival.

Each year we hire a local timing company to ensure we get the most accurate results. As pricing has increased over the years we have decided to only chip time those who want to be. So if you are trying to set a PR or looking to medal in your Age Group, make sure you request to be chip timed when you pick up your packet.

We always hand out medals to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female competitors. But we know that more of you deserve to show off your hard work, so we also provide medals to each of our Age Group winners for the following divisions:
U12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60+
